United StatesA great and beautiful lamp. We have two of them hanging over our dining room table. Because of the elongated, narrow shape it looks light in the room despite its size and in black colour. The shape also makes the lamp less susceptible to dust deposits. The quality of the lamp is also very good, but the lacquer is prone to scratches, so you have to be careful when hanging it up. The light cone falls mainly on the table underneath. Due to the design, the rest of the room is rather not or only slightly illuminated. But this is exactly the effect we wanted to have, as it creates a certain cosiness.
United StatesThe lamp seemed quite big to me when I unpacked it, but it looks very good on the ceiling and is unobtrusive. I have placed them in the hallway, because of the light cone I could also imagine them ideally above the dining table.
United Statesthe workmanship is very solid. throws an atmospheric cone of light, but you shouldn't use a simple energy-saving bulb (otherwise looks too cool). the lamp is something for lovers! one of our "accesoire-insensitive" guests was of the opinion that you could "hang a flashlight instead of the black thing"...we like it! :-)
